Exceptional

I am completely satisfied with my stay at "Kempinski". The hotel is exceptional in every way. Beautiful architecture, with an interesting complex of several types of pools and artificial lakes that fit into one dynamic environment, a beautiful lobby bar with lots of interesting and colorful details and beautiful smells. that extend through the space, leaving a special impression and pleasure. A beautiful beach, with an even more interesting coral reef and a colorful underwater world. Music programs in the evenings on the beach itself, which blend with the last rays of the setting sun, are an ideal way to end day. I would also like to mention the excellent selection and quality of food, so I would highly recommend everyone to stay at this very interesting and special place.

I can’t recommend enough. The staff are extremely wonderful. Everyone is very helpful, there wasn’t a time I needed something that didn’t happen. The restaurant managers took care of my mother and sister when they got sick and they were always on call. The facilities, the views, everything single thing about the hotel!! I can’t wait to go back !!

The place is beautiful, highest quality in everything. Relaxing for parents. Kids activities are amazing. Beautiful beach. Nice pools. Great food, quality and variety. Rooms are spacious and have all the needed ammeneties and I think they all have great views.

Amazing family trip at the Kempinski Souma Bay

The venue is gorgeous and definitely worth another visit in the near future. The staff were also very accommodating and friendly, especially Nancy and Mahrous

The fact that the steam room wasn't operational and some of the restaurants like bamboo were quite subpar in comparison to our expectations

Great relaxing luxury and a fabulous long sandy beach,

Resort ad beach were exceptional. Fabulous landscaping by pool area. Good internet, Delicious/quality buffet restaurant with endless variety and wonderful presentation.

Could have offered more entertainment at night. Very quiet...almost too quiet. Also the bamboo semi-circular sun shields on the beach were functional but obstruct the view of the ocean when sitting and trying to enjoy the sea. Fear of sharks given no netting protection in the perimeter.

A memorable stay that will bring us back again

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, starting From Hisham Selim and Mohamed from the reception, to Nancy, Sameh, Abanoub & Eid from the dining to Mahmoud on the concierge to Ahmed Gharieb & John on the beach services. The rooms were spacious. The beach was amazing.

Just PERFECT!

The hotel is amazing! The sightseeing from the lobby and from the room is breathless, the staff is very friendly, the bed is huge and very comfortable, the food is more than enough for the half board, fresh fish every evening at the main restaurant... The pool water at spa is heated, the beach is sandy and very beautiful. Safe surroundings and the best money value I’ve experienced so far ???????????????????? Truly a 5 star resort! Big thanks to all the staff for the great experience!

Beautiful beaches but absolutely not worth the cost.

We did the half board option. The breakfast and dinner buffet, and Asian restaurant were great. Lunch was EXTREMELY expensive ($40 for a starter salad and mezze plate!) Beach and pool staff were wonderful and clearly work very hard. Unfortunately, wait staff in buffet were inattentive and service was poor. The facilities are outdated and could use an upgrade, bathroom smelled a bit like urine when we arrived but housekeeping was quick to come clean again when we called.

Good beach and a well presented hotel, but the quality doesn't live up to the five star rating.

The beach was great

The lobby, entrance and pools at the hotel are in keeping with its five star rating. However, this is no more than a facade that hides a four star facility at best. There was only one a la carte restaurant open when we were there, during the busy Easter holiday, which was fully booked. Only on arrival were we told that we needed to book the day before if we wanted to secure a table - no good if you're only staying the one night. The buffet alternative was plentiful and adequate but lacked the quality of a five star establishment and was typically in a large and featureless room. The bar, too, was characterless, with limited drinks choice and poor food options. The room was OK and had a nice balcony and the beach was lovely, but there wasn't enough in this place to make me want to go back.

Excellent stay.

The Coral reef is really good, has a really good spots for snorkeling, food is really excellent, so many varieties included in it. Staff is friendly as well. What I also liked is that, how they take care of children, having a small buffet for them, also having a daily program for entertainment.

What did not meet my expectation is the room facilities, for instance kettle was missing we had to ask for it.

High Standard Hotel

We have been here 5 times in five years and that says it all! Really great food, great pools and very nice and relaxing beach. Never feels crowded. Perfect for a quiet vacation.

Very limited entertainment in the evenings (only live music). The hotel has to improve on this. The kids club could be better.

Perfect location. Great rooms and facilities. Good beach. Friendly staff.

Rooms were very good. Spacious and comfortable. Food was good with lots of variety in the buffet section. Staff were welcoming. The resort was beautiful in its layout. Lot of thought gone into the landscaping of the gardens and pool. Beach was very good too.overall very happy with this resort and its surrounds.

I think that the a la carts restaurants bring bamboo shoot and la pergola should stay open every day of the week and not only some days of the week as was the case when we were there.

Absolutely incredible hotel - This hotel is truly paradise!!

Everything was absolutely amazing - the staff were absolutely wonderful. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful and the beach is extremely clean, fully equipped with water, snorkels, towels, bathrooms, a beach bar, cabanas, etc. The half board option (breakfast & dinner) is enough food for a day - and is delicious and completely worth the price. The location of the hotel is a bit far from Hurghada, but the beaches here are clean and have amazing snorkeling so there really is no need to be closer. The beach is very private as it’s only shared by guests of the soma Bay Area and safety is not a concern at all - we and our stuff was extremely safe being left out all day. The boat snorkeling Trip the hotel offers (to the 7 pillars) at a small charge is wonderful (even comparing it to the diving). I celebrated my birthday at the hotel, and the hotel left a beautiful fruit birthday cake in our room without us even mentioning my birthday - it was absolutely the best place to spend it! The live music on the beach at sunset is also wonderful!
